Shaxi (沙溪) is an old town located north of Dali and south of Lijiang. Its home to the Bai & Yi people. Famous for its ancient architecture and legendary bridgesl. Located not far north from town center is the Shibao mountain. A trully spiritual site, having preserved its ancient shrines, makes it worth while. This tour may start in Dali or Lijiang, 2 days Shaxi, with hiking and biking options.
